Palm Pre Smartphone : Will this be the iPhone Killer?

Last Saturday, Palm Pre was launched in the US and just like when the iPhone was launched, thousands of customers gathered ouside Sprint Nextel Inc. and other authorized retailers to get their own smartphone which is believed to be the next iPhone Killer.

Current market price of thie Palm device is for $200 after a $100 mail-in rebate, plus a two-year service agreement.

Most American customers are attracted with its adaptable and easy-to-use touch-screen interface. But according to some review, this smartphone does not have the ability to run multiple applications at one time but good news for people who loves to take photos since it has a built-in flash for low light mobile phone photography.

Just like most smartphones in the market, Palm Pre is innovative and it has useful new features and best of all, it has a good messaging and multimedia integration.

The only advantage of iPhone is the huge number of applications available online which can easily be downloaded in iPhone application stores online.

Alot of bloggers not too happy with this new iPad.There was just 2 much hoopla regarding it and alot people got turned off.Thing is, I can actually see great deal of the awesome potential uses of this gizmo. Third-party apps for working with music, games, newspapers and magazines and books, tons of good stuff, but they just didn’t really sell it very well (aside from the books). It looks kinda undercooked

I’ve had my Pre because shortly immediately after release and am glad to discover (via this forum) that I can now set a ring tone on incoming text messages and can research through e-mails and this kind of. Now is there any hope for an upcoming release by which I can look for my calendar? Would make my job much much easier, locating dates of final appointments. No other complaints, except that yesterday I had been in and out of Sprint service (not unusual). I consider I had been roaming, and looked at my calendar. Almost everything in the calendar was a single hour earlier than what I had input. The clock was one hour early as nicely. I was afraid to death–then, as soon as we got back into Sprint provider once again, almost everything was normalized. Has this happened to everyone else?? Seeking forward to answers, but please bear in mind, I’m no techie and speak English as opposed to technospeak.
