Samsung OMNIA Smartphone Review

The most outstanding feature of Samsung OMNIA is its weight. Together with the battery, Samsung OMNIA is only 122 grams in terms of weight. If you carry this little gadget on your hand, you will be amused by its design and features. Omnia’s dimension is a 112 X 56 X 12.5 mm. It has the same size with the famous iPhone and Sony Ericsson Xperia X1.

What makes it more comparable to iPhone is the 3.2-inch display, unfortunately the display of OMNIA is not nearly the same as the iPhone as its resolution is only 240 X 400 pixel.

In spite the fact that the display is far behind iPhone, OMNIA smartphone has a fully touch screen feature with a TOUCHWIZ UI technology which will enable you to control the menu with your finger tip.

You can drag everything with your finger such as accessing the menu, looking at the photo and so forth.

There is no need to use the stylus as your pointer, just simply use your finger though in fact, it is also equipped with stylus. To use it correctly, you need to get familiarized with the menu area and the main screen area.

Samsung OMNIA is installed with Windows mobile 6.1 which will enable you to access the business features such as Microsoft Office suites. There are also various applications available such as push email which will enable you to download and read you email, TV-output, Time manager, Business card recognition, Geo-tagging and content sharing.

It has a huge internal storage of 16 GB with a micro SD card slot. You will be able to carry more than enough music and video files on it. You do not need to worry about the file compression format.  OMNIA installed with various audio video codec namely DivX, Xvid, WMV, MPEG4, MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA, and OGG.

OMNIA is considered to be one of the most powerful mobile phone processor available today as it employs the 624 MHz Marvell processor with 128 MB RAM. It gives you the ability to smoothly process the heavy loaded menu such as photo gallery. This great OMNIA smartphone also provide on-screen QWERTY keyboard which will give you the flexibility to type quickly. AS you use the on-screen keyboard, you can feel that the touch screen is very sensitive.
